The FA Cup Final: Chelsea VS Arsenal
On the 1st August, the FA Cup Final will Kick-Off between local derby rivals and previous FA Cup winners, Chelsea and Arsenal.
The Gunners got their seats in the finals with a brilliant 2-0 win over Manchester City on Saturday
The Blues eliminated the remaining Manchester team, Manchester United in an effortless game on Sunday winning 3-1, with an own goal from Maguire.
As a result, the FA Cup Final is in for another all-London affair at Wembley next month. The trophy will be returning to previous winners and rivals Arsenal or Chelsea. Facing a repeat of the 2002 and 2017 finals.
In 2002 and 2017 the Gunners and FA Cup leaders came out on top to lift the trophy, however, the out of the two rivals, the Blues are the most recent team to take the trophy home.
Although Arsenal vs Chelsea isn’t a first. Frank Lampard and Mikel Arteta are finalising their first debut season as managers at their clubs, and what a season.
